Can we get a Star Wars: Squadron UPDATE
Is it me? Or has anyone else been wondering about what happened to this game? I loved the concept but could not get into the first person “cockpit” view. Moving forward, there are still people I know to this day who play Star Wars Battlefronts mode “Galactic Assault” which is similar to Squadrons but had a third person view and **bleep** put view. I feel like Squadrons could have been such a HUGE SUCCESS if it would’ve had a feature toggle between the two. Yes the cockpit looks amazing but the third person view I feel’s adds the coolness to Star Wars, hearing and seeing the colorful thrusters, etc. is the cool thing about Star Wars. & was wondering if Star Wars: Outlaws is getting some new add ons could we possibly see a third person view some to Squadrons? Making it extremely similar to Galactic Assault I think would be an AMAZING update! And even getting some fans from Battlefront to start transitioning back over! Please let’s add a third person view Star Wars fans are suffering so much right now because there is no online PvP games out nothing even close to Battlefront and it’s been complete torture.Game will not start beyond the EA "Preparing Game" popup
Pretty much what it says in the title, trying to figure out why my game just wont open at all. I have tried to open the game through both steam and EA (even tried through epic just to see). My PC meets the requirements, I have tried turning admin perms for the game on and off, ive reinstalled the game itself and EA multiple times, and tried to clean boot my pc. I am on the mission where you have to shoot down the missiles being fired by the star destroyer. The game keeps telling me that the rebel ships are getting hit by missiles. But I studied the area carefully and there aren't any, I shot them all down. Is this a known game bug? Hey, I am a content creator that has streamed everyday for 627 day, and counting, covering Galaxy of heroes, and to celebrate, I want to do a marathon stream, and make history. I want to be the first streamer ever to beat every single modern EA star wars campaign game in one stream. Those games would be Squadrons, Battlefront 2, Jedi fallen order, and Jedi Survivor. Before I do so, are their any guidelines or rules I need to follow to make it an official run such as allowed time of rest from gameplay, or a certain order I need to play the games in, etc etc. Any clarification would be much appreciated. I am very excited about this marathon for not just my community, but star wars gaming itself! As always, may the force be with you!

I believe that Star wars battlefront 2 and all older star wars games should be re remastered with x64 architecture and graphics to improve the modding experience dropping the GB limit that causes crashes on the older games. Main games to highlight along with if capable cross play support would just knock it out of the ball park. Some of this I know has been done but the rest has not. Star wars empire at war is a example of how successful it could become or more. Star wars Kotor 1 and 2 or knights of the old republic. Star wars battlefront 1 and 2 originals. Hello DICE and Electronic Arts, First of all, thank you for creating Star Wars Battlefront II (2017). It is still an amazing game that many players around the world love and continue to play on both PS4 and PC. Many fans, including myself, would be incredibly happy if you would consider releasing a new update for the game in the future. We would love to see more planets, maps, game modes, and additional heroes and villains without having to rely on mods on PC. Characters such as Ahsoka Tano and Asajj Ventress would be amazing additions. It would also be exciting to see new content inspired by The Clone Wars, Rebels, The Mandalorian, and other parts of the Star Wars universe. Many players on both PS4 and PC are still actively playing Star Wars Battlefront II and appreciate all the hard work that went into the game. Therefore, I hope that one day you might consider bringing new content to the game and continuing its legacy. Previous status: I own this game on this account. I have downloaded it on my PC. I have no problem playing it before. Issue now: I open the game It says fail, because it could be downloaded by another user Then, it automatically switched to my other google account, that account doesn't have this game So I logged out that google account And tried to login with this account that owns the game It loops. There's no way I can play the game I bought. How is it even possible? How can the EA app login to my google account automatically without my own permission when I launch the game from this account on the app? I didn't even logout from this account when EA app did the switch. Does it make any sense?Star wars squadrons stuck on mission 9
I had just completed the mission 8 and was trying to progress to mission 9 when the game got stuck on an infinite loading screen. The game was responding to windows and the small loading grid was still working however it wouldnt load the mission at any cost and eventually i would get frustrated and close the game. Do any of you have a solution because i cant seem to find it anywhere online
Battlefront 2 shutting down from Origin Client being terminated - Error
I cant play any EA games because the client keeps shutting itself down. it only produces the error in the title when im in game. the game runs fine. the EA app just closes itself without errors if nothing is running. i don't have origin installed and there are no left over files to suggest its there. Ive tried. Uninstalling - reinstalling the game and app Downgrading my GPU drivers for my Nvidia GTX 1080 to an older one updating my PC. checking for viruses. closed all anti virus apps down Disabled in game overlays Checked event viewer. Checked DxDiag. no issues found there Killed my firewall. the only thing i can honestly say at this point is that the main game is installed on a different hard drive to where the client is. but the game is not whats causing the app to close. Nothing works EA's silly little AI chatbot is useless and they have ignored my tickets. i have uploaded the only report that may show something. there are no other recorded errors i can produce
Error 4270 Star Wars Squadrons
Posting this again since EA closed down the other thread regarding error 4270 in Star Wars Squadrons - claiming it was “necroposting” without offering any solutions or updates… Here is my original reply to another player - and several other players who posted within the last few weeks - regarding this multiplayer invite issue. I am able to invite at least one other XBox player to multiplayer in crossplay, but not other PC/Steam players… “I am on Steam and can successfully invite my buddy on Xbox using his EA ID, but I cannot invite any other steam friends using their steam ID or EA ID - I’ll get error code 4270 for all of them. It sucks because a couple of them just bought the game during the Christmas 2024 steam sale and we can’t play together at all… We’ve tried turning off crossplay, exiting the game, logging back in and turning crossplay back on - doesn’t work. Restarting the PCs also doesn’t work. EA!!!! HELP!!!!” The response from EA’s community manager (five days later) “Closing thread to avoid necroposting. Discovered a glitch in the store where new player Lightspeed Bundles are showing up and available for purchase on old/veteran accounts. I already bought one by mistake and had to open a support ticket to get the content delivered. I can provide the steps to reproduce it privately to a dev/moderator.
Training isn't good enough for support ships
So the training mode is nice, but there is no way to train the support ships. In fact, I think this game drops the ball with extensive training for those support ships; the single player campaign does an OK job, but it isn't the same as when we have a squad of our own. I need to practice finding my squad, protecting them with shields, healing them and what-not. All those things are missing with practice because we are alone. So please, if any EA is listening, help us get better at those support ships!
[PC] Jedi Fallen Order: Performance issues (FPS drops + stuttering)

The problem is highly reproducible: when I enter a new area in a level, I get the FPS drops and stutter. When I go to the same place again, same problem. It happens whatever the graphics settings. I get it in 1440p full epic BUT ALSO in 720p full medium. How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%) Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Walk through a level, and when entering a new "area", or zone, it happens. For exemple, it happens a lot in Bogano (2nd world), at exactly the same place. It happens also in the first level (Bracca), at the beginning of the game, at the end of the first long slide. Two pictures are attached showing two examples (among many !) of the exact place where it is happenning everytime I got to this place. What happens when the bug occurs? Frame rate drops a lot for a few seconds, and then goes back to normal. What do you expect to see? No frame rate drops, stable performance everywhere. My computer is not the problem. I can play Star Wars Battlefront in 1440p full ultra at a stable 60 FPS. My build: Ryzen 5 2600, Vega 64, 16 Go RAM, Game is on a SSD I am not overclocking my GPU nor my CPU. People with much better builds have the same issue. Believe me, I have tried everything I found on the internet. I have spent more than 10h in game just testing and testing... another 10h more just searching on the internet. This is not a technical issue, this is why I consider it as a bug. The fact that even at the lowest possible graphics settings I get the performance issue tells me it is a problem from the game (so a bug), not from my computer. Every time I try to join a multiplayer game, I get a message saying, "You were disconnected from the game server. Please try again." Nothing I have done seems to fix the issue. Even reinstalling the game did not help. I have an Xbox S now, but I never had any issues like this on my old Xbox One. I’m stuck in a scripted interaction where I need to “Use the Force” on a teammate. The prompt shows “1 – Use the Force”, but my Force Attack key (R / default reset) does nothing. I already tried restarting checkpoint and resetting controls, but the interaction doesn’t trigger at all
